Monday we had the pleasure of attending the wedding of Beth Johnson and Adam Nicely. The bride and groom prepared separately on opposite sides of Manhattan, and were assisted by Ryan Michael Hayes of Soiree Special Events and his assistant (whose name escapes me at the moment, which is a shame because she was spectacular). These wedding planners had their schedule planned to the minute. The bride was thinking ahead: as a gift to her bridal party she supplied matching, decorated flip-flops to replace aching shoes later in the wedding-day.

The ceremony took place at 5th Avenue Presbyterian Church with a trip to Central Park for portraits with the wedding party. We got some gorgeous shots, as the sun was just beginning to set when we entered the park.

Expressway Music and Events provided DJ services at the reception, which kicked off at Tavern on the Green at 66th and Park West. The bride is a cast member of the Broadway musical Spamalot, so the crowd was more than happy to bust out some dance moves. Highlights of the evening included a full-on kick-line featuring current and former members of the Radio City Rockettes!

All-in-all it was a beautiful, fun-filled celebration for two of the kindest people you could hope to meet.
