Danielle Goldovsky and Neil Wolfe were married in Woodbury, NY at the Crest Hollow Country Club.
Danielle has a rich family background, and her grandmother took the opportunity of Danielle’s wedding to pass along her own wedding ring–a simple, classic wedding band made of Russian gold. It was moving to witness this passing of tradition, and was a wonderful way to start her wedding day.
The bride and groom arranged to meet just prior to the ceremony in a secluded area of the club, away from family, friends and guests.
According to tradition, the couple met with their rabbi along with family to sign the ketubah and prepare for the ceremony by wearing the veil, placed upon her head by her fiance, Neil.
The ceremony was an emotional experience for everyone, and a joyous celebration of Danielle and Neil’s new life together. As the reception wore on, the dancing continued well into the night, with bride and groom held aloft on chairs, dancing the Horah.
