Photos from the Event

Jennifer Brillante and Robert Weaver were married in true New York fashion–at the small parish around the corner from the bride’s childhood Brooklyn home.

The bride and her attendants began their day at the Roosevelt Hotel with the assistance of makeup artist Erica Whelan and stylist Jennifer Brent. It was a touching experience when the bride’s father came to the room to find his beautiful daughter now a beautiful bride.

Since Brooklyn was a major influence on our bride, it was important to showcase her roots during the wedding. The bridal party braved the elements for a photo shoot at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge before taking a limo ride to Manhattan Beach.

While you may not find it on a map, St. Margret Mary in Manhattan Beach, Brooklyn is a quaint, intimate chapel just around the corner from the bay, and a perfect spot for a quiet wedding ceremony for Jennifer and Robert.

After the ceremony, the entire wedding list stepped into a chartered bus for the return to trip to the reception at the Roosevelt Hotel.

While everyone  else was making their way to their cocktail hour, the bride and groom slipped away to Chelsea for a photo shoot below the Flat Iron Building.

The wedding day was as smooth as butter, thanks to the lovely ladies at Always a Bridesmaid (one of our favorite new wedding planners to work with), and the reception a rocking success with help from Paramount Music.
