Photos from the Event

What do you get when you combine an energetic bride and a night-life loving groom? An all night party, that’s what!

Amy Krigsman and Daniel Warren wed this past week in an unconventional way… by throwing (literally) an all night party. Our associate photogs Kyo and Carlo photographed the event, and are still recovering :).

The bride and groom live in the East Village, and since they are dedicated to their neighborhood, it was important that their vendors be locally involved. Amy’s dress (which she raves about) was custom designed just for her by couture bridal designer Angelo Lambrou, who is located nearby. Fashionable and local… imagine that! Flowers were by Jameel at J. Gilbert Studios Limited, and were designed to match the magenta coloring in the bride’s shoes.

While the ceremony had a traditional Jewish structure (ketubah signing, chuppah, etc), the location and execution were all modern, and all original. The groom, Dan, owns Common Ground, a bar and restaurant on the Lower East Side, and he and Amy decided their wedding and reception should be just as exciting as a night out in NYC.

The venue they chose, ESPACE, is a blank canvas… a modern white space with programmable LED lighting that changes as your event unfolds. In keeping with her color themes, the room was decorated with candelabras dressed in the same purple as the sash on Amy’s bridal gown.

The party wore well into the night, with music from the Dream Team at NYC Swing… but this couple wasn’t ready to stop just because the reception ended… they moved the party over to Lucky Strikes, partying until 4AM!

Congratulations to Amy and Dan–may your life be the party that never ends, just like your wedding!
